Over a week ago, I was preparing for this engagement session with Caleb and Andrea and was scouting for some locations.  While I was focusing on a more rustic session I knew I wanted to capture them with some city flair too.  We started the session in downtown Lewisburg and they rocked it!  After that we headed to a nearby farm with fields of tall grass and a beautiful barn.

I enjoyed getting to know not only Caleb and Andrea but their sweet dog, Chesney!!  Just wait till you see this little girl… too cute!  On top of it all she is great in front of the camera!  They gave me this tip but all I had to say was, “let’s go to grandma’s,” and I had her full attention… somebody loves grandma.  I loved capturing the connection between these two.  It was evident from the first few shots that they were head over heels for each other!

Enjoy browsing through this new engagement session!  I can’t wait to capture their fall wedding this year!!

Meet Stevenson and Cortney!  Spring is in the air and that has me excited for wedding season to begin.  I will be kicking off my first wedding of the season in April with this beautiful couple!  We did their engagement session in the fall and I could tell right away that these two were made for each other.  It was such a pleasure capturing the love between the two of them.

We started off at the Wild Bean, a local coffee shop, where they had their first date and ended the session with a little hike at one of their favorite trails near the Greenbrier River.

While I am looking forward to the spring and summer I have to say fall is one of my favorite seasons.  I only wish it was longer as it seems to pass in the blink of an eye.  These two are stunning and their happiness could have brightened up the darkest day in the dead of winter.

This senior session was so much fun!  Sarah is an upcoming 2016 Greenbrier East graduate.  She loves the outdoors and snow so when we were blessed with 18+ inches of snow in late January we knew it was the perfect time for her session.  The beauty of this magical winter season and Sarah was a match made in heaven!

I had the pleasure of photographing high school sweet hearts, Lucian and Kate.  They have been together since their sophomore year.  I could tell from the start that they were a laid back couple that shared an incredible bond.

We ventured to Blue Bend for their session.  I was so excited when they told me that they brought a banjo!  They got comfortable on a blanket underneath some rhododendron bushes and did what came natural to them… Lucian picking his banjo and Kate reading a book (this girl loves to read and he is awesome with the banjo).  A little bit of adventuring and we wrapped up a beautiful session on a hot July evening.

Time as always has flown by and their wedding date is almost here.  I am looking forward to photographing their special day tomorrow!  🙂
